I Am So Confused

So I had written about a guy that I've liked since I was a kid....well he just contacted me out of the blue & although I'm really happy about it (I mean I felt those butterflies again, happy) I'm a lil concerned he called me sexy. He has a go so could he just be messing with me or could it be his way of becoming friends again? Guys are so confusing & this came at a bad time cause I'm starting to fall for this guy at work who may not realize or just won't admit he has feelings for his childhood friend......ugh
