I Think Some People Need to Grow Up

A bakery in my state recently denied a gay couple service and is being sued and I'm sure the whole country will be divided over who was right and all that. Here's my opinion on the matter.

Both sides involved need to grow up. If you open a business, you have to be professional, and sometimes that means doing things you don't want to do, my personal belief is you're not going to be sent to hell, if hell is a real place, it's earth and I highly doubt you will be sent somewhere worse if you do this for someone you disagree with.

The gay couple need to understand that people will refuse to support their decisions in life regardless of what they do and that's how it works. They are not that special. The bakers need to stop acting like children and bake the cake, and the couple needs to grow up and get over the fact that the bakers hate them, and then both sides need to move on with their lives. That's how I view the situation. Be professional and learn to accept that some people just don't like you and the way you live your life. That's how the real world works. It may not be right or fair, but that's how it is.

True. If the bakery has the right to refuse service, the couple are more than likely gonna lose the lawsuit. But the bakery should be professional and cater to every single paying customer.

@Brookie101 You're absolutely right. Both parties should be adults about this. But I think both just want to create problems.

The gay couple should take their business elsewhere. Why give money to people who clearly hate them? I would hope others, straights and gays, will also refuse to do business with the bakery, I certainly would.

People are far to litigious
