I Want To Tell You A Short Story
I have a friend who's from Canada. I am always kidding her about it with jokes about Canadians. Since she is very bright and well educated (a Canadian trait), she often has a good comeback. Here is one exchange from this website I told her about because I knew she'd appreciate it:
A man here who was selling his house posted that he had gotten an offer on his house from a guy who claimed he was from Canada. He asked: "How can I tell whether he is really Canadian?"
My answer: "Is he paying you in dollars or beaverskins?"
He posted back: "I asked him. He says he's paying in bucks. Without the antlers."
