The next stage was to purchase and bring provisions down to the boat which I did this afternoon as well as bringing down and mounting the flat screen television on the main bulkhead. I took it home over the winter and was returning it on board for use there. We use the TV conventionally when at the dock as well as unusually while under sail. I fit the mast head with a wide angle view weather proof camera and the signal is sent to this screen while underway. If I head down below while underway the screen shows what is in front of the boat at all times so we remain safe - it is like a picture window view of what is in front of the boat and is a major league safety item. I also send the signal wirelessly to my iPad so we have no blind spots while sailing. It really is remarkable having an electronic look out from aloft where the view is totally unrestricted.
