I Like to Target Shoot

My wife does also, I stopped by the gun shop this morning and got her a new Sig .22 and a bucket of ammo hopefully she shares them with me.
Secretary went to the ups store and got targets printed up she said it was a lot cheaper than me wasting her toner

Ok, from someone who has never fired a real gun, how easy or hard is it to pick up a reasonably modest gun and hit a decent sized target? I mean, could I likely hit a bucket from ten feet away? Is it deceptively hard?

@SW-User most instructors love teaching people who have never fired a gun before. As they have no bad habits

@SW-User the most difficult thing for new shooters to overcome is anticipation; being able to relax and aim, not tense up and rush; takes practice to get comfortable with sound and recoil

my advice would be to start with rifles before a handgun, go with small caliber until you're comfortable, then work your way up.

i.e. giving someone a .357, .44, etc. that's never fired a handgun before is silly and dangerous
