I Saw Someone Faint

This is from in school. The first person I saw was a guy in my science class. ***blood and guts warning*** We were learning about the heart and the teacher was holding s pigs heart up and suddenly she started poking her finger through the aorta. Then this guy sat himself down on the floor, I’m not sure whether he fainted then or whether he managed to save himself, but afterwards someone pointed out that he was on the floor and we were all herded to the back f the room. The guy was as a white as a sheet and when the nurse came in his legs were like jelly.

When we were having our injections several people were fainting, someone even fainted on the stairs which was alarming.

The next time was a girl who fainted often. It was our free period and she was stood by the water fountain and then she went down like a sack of bricks. The area was cordoned off and we were told to elsewhere. Another time she passed out just before class so we had to go to class early and once I found her passed out in the toilets. Some people said she was faking it because she was never injured but idk though.

Once in class this girl passed out randomly. She just slipped sideways off her chair.

I saw a lunch lady faint once too, it was on the last day of the year and she was walking to some doors (probably to get to the bathroom or outside) and she looked drunk then she fell. I thought she’d just fell but then she didn’t move for about 20 seconds.

Sometimes with fainting or collapsing or seizures, you get just enough warning to take a quick safety measure like sitting down or grabbing hold of something to ease the fall. At least this is the case with drop attack seizures and some chronic fainting conditions. It's not enough to avoid every seizure or fall though.

I know that all too well from my own experience, I always aim to sit down or lie down if I can feel it coming on
