I Have a Step Daughter and She and Her Mom Cause Problems

Hmmmm.....

‘Problems’ being that my best friend had a fling with my husband and got herself pregnant by him.

I have forgiven my husband and, to some extent, have some semblance of a relationship with my friend....but I don’t want ANYTHING to do with he child.

I don’t know her name or birth date....never wanted to know....and I am fine with that.

My husband, well, he is free to have som sort of relationship with his daughter; i’m cool with that. But no way am I letting that ‘thing’ in my house ever.

@Kara18 Yes, I know it’s screwed up; she never asked to be born, right? I get that. But, human nature being human nature I can’t bring myself to even look at her, let alone anything else....

Looking at her will make me see my husband in her.....that will make me see the ‘reality’ of the situation.....whereas I can always ‘pretend’ in my mind that she doesn’t exist...

Does that make sense?
