I Am a Realist
When I moved in here a little over two years ago it was a godsend, because the rent for a room in town was high, and took a big bite out if my revenue. Gradually things have improved, the farmer is renovating the barns to be better useable for a number of things.
I've been away five weeks, and in that time, with all the additional tasks he has anyway, he has renovated another room adjacent to the two I have in the top of the barn, and I have a bathroom now, with toilet, bidet, and shower over a bathtub. Before, I had to go downstairs for the toilet in the yard, and my shower was downstairs in the corner of the barn.
It was a strain in the winter, having to dress to be able to go to the toilet, and worrying about frozen pipes. It's all very upto date and pristine now for me, and I'm overjoyed. The farmer, has been really good to me, by way of continuing the renovations I knew were going on when I moved in, and had the very basics for a time.
