I Love Makeup
So I thought I'd share my make up routine with you guys and maybe give you some tips that you may or may not want to try for yourselves.
When I do my makeup, I always wash my face first, with my St Ive's green tea face scrub. Then I take a paper towl and put rubbing alcohol on it to kill any germs left, get any areas I may have missed, and to dry out my zits if I have any. The. I also apply night cream and spf 30 sunscreen lotion to my face to both protect it and keep it moisturized. As long as you moisturize after applying alcohol to your face, it shouldn't hurt it. Also I put some patroleum jelly on my face to lock in the moisture, so my face doesn't dry out. Especially in the winter.
Next I apply primer to my face, i only apply a little bit to each side and rub it in, remember a little goes a long way. I use wet and wild primer, you can get it pretty much anywhere. Then I apply some foundation, I use covergirl, I have very fair skin, so I always buy the lightest shade they have, also I just use one pump and it's more than enough. After I blend that in I use a second foundation that's not as heavy to seal all the red spots On my face and blend that in. Next I use my wet and wild concealer on my eyes to brighten them, I also use coconut oil as eye cream and it's the best thing ever, cause rather than constantly buy expensive eye creams I just use this and it's cheap and convenient and works like a charm.
So anyway I bled my concealer in on my eye lids and then I apply my powder which is covergirl. After that I apply my Anastasia Beverly Hills modern renaissance to my eyes and it's very pigmented so only use a tiny bit if you decide to. I like to use a brown and red combination, giving me a smokey eye look. After that I apply gel liner, usually brown or black, and definitely brown on the lower lines. On the bottom line, start at the tear corner of the eye and only do a slight line, don't go the whole way. That'll give you a smiley eye look, or if you want to make it casual, just do the top line. A goth look do both lines with dark black liner. Sometimes we just gotta be dark, I get it, I'm just like that sometimes. Now this is my choice, you can do this too if you want, I take a eyebrow spooly and put Vaseline on it and apply it to my outer lashes. Then I put on my mascara and my lashes are much longer. The mascara, and eye liner I use are maybeline btw.
Next I apply my blush abs bronzer. Both which came in a makeup bag I get for $10 from ipsy. They take $10 out of my bank account and send me some cool make up I'd otherwise be paying a fortune for. So I definitely recommend you sign up fI receive ipsy glam bags if you get the chance. After I apply my bronzer and blush, I take a blending brush and I blend it in with the skin so it looks natural. After that, I fill in my eye brows which is super easy and I use a maybeline brow pencil and brow palette. After that I just apply my lipstick and I'm done with my make up.
So I hope I helped you in some make up tips, or ideas. Remember this blog is to help you out with ideas, not everything I do will work for you, that's ok, find what does work for you and you'll be happy. I just make suggestions and hopefully I help someone. I found out today my suggestion to switch from dairy milk to almond milk did in fact help someone and his kid today, so that made me feel so good and warm. Any questions about my blog you can comment or message me, I love talking to my readers, you guys are the reason I blog to begin with, so always let me know what I can add or take out or just what I do differently. Thanks for reading. 😘💋❤️
