I remember back in the day when people could actually hold a conversation without having to use any swear words. Say the word Hell around your parents and you were in BIG trouble. It was pronouced "H... E... Double Toothpicks"

I never heard of the double Toothpicks one, but in Canada, we said H-E-Double Hockey-sticks.

That was FUNNY, I remember.
