I Remember When

I remember when for the first time, in one of my saddest moments, I understood what the quote means.

[i]"The best feeling is when you look at him and he's already staring."[/i]

It was my birthday. I felt like running away from home so my best friend and I traveled for hours just to be in this certain place. The sky was beautiful, and so were the mountains and trees. Everything screams nature and everything was lovely. It was my first time in the restaurant, so high above the grounds that you feel like you want to touch the sky.

And then, while I was enjoying the view of the vast sky thinking how in the world God could create such greatness, I felt eyes. I looked down and I saw him, beautiful and sitting in the table under the umbrella with people beside him. He was wearing shades but his face was turned to me who was above and it stayed like that for a while.

It felt unreal, almost magical. Because of all days, it had to be that day. I never got to talk to him though. He was still a stranger. But on that day, that feeling was one of the most memorable I took with me.
