I Remember When

I used to go a lot to the beach as a child, and this one time, I suppose when I was 12 years old, I jumped off this high sand dune and landed on broken glass at the bottom (that somebody had not so considerately left for me), cutting my foot open--I think somebody had broken a bottle on a rock or something.

That was a nasty cut, and I still have a big scar there on my foot to show for it. 😦
