I Remember When

This one time when I was about ten years old in junior school, we were lined up before going back to the classrooms, I think after a break, and I think the principal said something about not eating because I was eating a fizzer. So I turned and pulled my tongue out at or opened my mouth at the principal to show him I had finished eating or that I was no longer eating and he sent me to his office.

Hmmm... 🤔 Could he have thought I was pulling a tongue at him, given my already established reputation for misbehaviour at the time?
