I Am Deeply Inspired By The Works Of J R R Tolkien

I've always loved The Hobbit. It's my favourite book. Over the years I've read it dozens of times. His other works are a little too dark for me. I like them, but I do not love them.

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say

Samwise was the most consistent and selfless character in the whole story. He basically agreed to go on a one way trip, just to look after his friend.

In all things fantasy, Tolkien is God.

He was a great writer
