I only ever watched the first series, then some of the second. Maybe if I get back into it... The discs were too expensive back when I was collecting them to buy more than one series at a time.

@BettyBeez so, it was when angel was bad angel. And buffy and crew were working a haunted case as the high school.
The ghosts were a teacher and student doomed in love. In the past, the student (guy) shot the teacher on accident
BUT in this scene Buffy is possessed by the dude, and angel by the girl. And since angel is a vampire....when he gets shot, he stays alive
This scene is where they meet up...when buffy (the guy) realizes the girl (angel) is still alive. They dance and kiss and the souls go to heaven
Then buffy and angel snap out of it and angel runs
