Research on relationships seems to suggest the highest rated factor in a partner is their personality, not their looks. That's for a relationship that's committed, presumably. Nowadays people so obsessed with sex and it's so easy to have sex without commitment, it seems more people go for just that, and then yes, it's probably looks first.
