Bury the head and body in separate holes.
SW-User
@Shiki Why? o_O
SW-User
@Shiki the head should stop doing anything after its been in the dumpster for a few days
made sure not to touch it since he was still moving for about 30 minutes after
@SW-User be careful with the head the fangs can still inject venom
Shiki ·
@SW-User @SW-User they can still inject venom and the blood will attract other rattlesnakes, even if it is in a dumpster
SW-User
@Shiki So what does burying them in different holes do?
Shiki ·
@SW-User the dirt sucks and dries out the moisture, also gets rid of the smell.
SW-User
@ExperienceDLT @Shiki that is for the hours after death because of muscle reflexes
it was still moving when i put it in a bag
always use shovel
once the muscles are done then its over
but it will take a few days
as for blood
does not work that way
i chop off the heads often
SW-User
@Shiki Will it not do that if you bury them in the same hole?
@SW-User skin it make you some snake skin sneakers 👟👍
Shiki ·
@SW-User Exactly, you shouldn't worry about anything but the venom and blood after it stops working, as for the blood, highly likely. Just a guaranteed solution, do as you please.
Shiki ·
@SW-User Yeah, but the scent would be stronger from the two fluid smells mixing and would take longer to vanish, with increased risk of attracting more.
SW-User
@Shiki Wouldn't it be easier to just dig a wider hole?
Shiki ·
@SW-User Yes and no. Predators are good with scents, especially those who rely on it.
SW-User
@Shiki This is getting a little tiresome. Why does two separate holes do any of that better than one wide hole?
Shiki ·
@SW-User Do what you want then lol
SW-User
@Shiki I’m just trying to understand. lol
Shiki ·
@SW-User I can't explain further than I have 😆 two holes, better than one, less risk.
SW-User
@Shiki Even if the body parts are exactly the same distance away?
Shiki ·
@SW-User No, a few feet at least. Lol
SW-User
@Shiki So the distance is the important part, not them being in separate holes?
Shiki ·
@SW-User They are both equally important. 👀
SW-User
@Shiki Okay. So how far are we talking? I’m thinking in general terms and I think this might be simplified if I get some dimensions.
Shiki ·
@SW-User 30 feet at the most if you're superstitious. Other than that, three or four feet should work.
