I Want To Tell Her How Much I Love Her
The package arrived. I knew it would as stated on the announcement. I knew the sender. I love her.
I arrived early and waited for the store to open. My po box lay on the other side of the locked door. My package was there too in a finely colored, pleasantly looking box.
The store opened promptly at 9am. "Package for box 178 please" I said eagerly. I signed fir it and left.
The card spoke of love, a perfect card that spoke her heart. She always speaks her heart. I love listening to her speak. I love her.
The candle. I loved the scent and the scripture that was printed on the label. Hebrews 3:13 "encourage one another daily..." The candle will provide light in the darkness, on dark days. I will see the light and I will think if her. The flame will warm me and comfort me.
The safety emergency kit, contains things that will be useful in an emergency. So thoughtful. She thought of me when she attended a safety conference on her job. And she bought me a kit. That's just what she does. That's how she takes care of me, in ways that she can and she's joyful about it and I can hear her joy when she talks to me on the phone.
I'm highly allergic to chemicals. Something as simple as an underarm deodorant can cause problems, bad allergic reactions, itching, even pain. She was shopping one day and she remembered I told her that I have issues with underarm products. She saw something she thought I should try. She read the label to me. Sounds good I told her. She said then she shall buy it and she did. I tried the product and it's the best product ever for me. And she was so happy she could take care of me in this way. So in the box was another deo stick.
Simple things. Easy things. Thoughtful, considerate, loving gestures from a woman who lives almost 2800 miles from me. When I move to TN later in the month, the distance will be reduced to about 1980 some odd miles. Getting closer.
I have just shown you her heart. This is what she does, how she cares, how she shows her love for me. And of course she does other things for me and shows me in other ways of course, but sending me cards and gifts just adds another layer to an already good, strong relationship.
We haven't met yet but we are as close as two people can be. She has my heart, no question and her heart is mine for all eternity. Thank you baby for everything, always.
