I Have A Stepdad

Yup, its official now. The wedding was yesterday. I got a new Stepdad and Stepbrother and there is paperwork to prove it and everything.

Its been like an emotional roller coaster the last few weeks. I dont mind roller coasters but they are a bit scary, exciting and emotionally exhausting. I am glad to get off now and get back my feet back on the ground. Now its time to explore other parts of the amusement park - i'm thinking maybe that cotton candy looks good.....

Thanks to everyone who was wishing me well and asking how things were going. I think everything will be good - it feels like the first day of something new for me.

What a nice post. You're so generous with your thanking people for wishing you well and asking how things are going. And it sounds like you've really got a good thing going - some wonderful, new family members. I think everything will be good, too. Becky, I'm so happy for you.

And I would like to feel like this is the first day of something new for me, as well. I'll see if I can find something to feel that way about. I'm glad you mentioned that.
