I Wish I Was Happy

Happy has no relation to how things are...such as
If I have this ....... then I will be happy.
Life does not work that way.
Happy is a choice, and we choose it in each moment.
If you can get this concept, you will cause you less pain.
Please never ever get married till you love you.
Your happy comes from you.

Some say happiness is a choice, that might work, but as a formula I dislike it, formulas don't work in my mind for it, it comes when it chooses and may very well stay away when we beckon to it, for some strange reason which some religions capitalize on.

I wish you were happy to how can we accomplish this
