Feelings that scare me
But my scars are my armour
Keeping me free

Assaults filled with fealty
All the bowing and pleasing
The truth in the lies
The test of the teasing

My meanings
Are weaning
Needles of needing
Believing
Retreating
Taking the beating

But my sun always rises
I'm always fine
Flick the switch to the light
No answers to find
Inside of this darkness
This darkness of mine
