Well, by far most people on US welfare are white and Southern and Republican, so I guess they'll be for Trump, even if it isn't in their best interest. On the other hand, why wouldn't non-whites vote against a bigot like Trump?

Lower corporate tax rate from the highest in the world, to something more competitive so companies stop leaving and other relocate in the US. Renegotiate some of the terrible trade deals made in the past 12 years. And the best one: Lower the tax rate so companies can repatriate overseas profits. Trillions sit offshore. And what is HC doing to stimulate the economy? Raise taxes.

First, I don't follow Trump's Facebook posts. But I can't see what saying he loves someone is a terrible things.

Second, the punishment thing is taken entirely out of context. Something liberals are exceptionally skilled at doing so I congratulate you for meeting my expectation there.

And lastly on immigration, the Muslim comment is to provide a temporary lock down to put in place a vetting procedure. Which I agree with. There is no effective vetting procedure currently being followed.

The wall I also agree with. Not just for the unseemly types coming across, but also for the vast majority of hard working families. They need to enter the country legally. Like generations of our ancestors did. I do NOT believe in open borders like the current occupant at 1600 and the Democratic presumptive nominee both do. So since left wing hack politicians won't follow the laws of the land, we need to build a wall.

@cierzo For some reason, most of the black vote has accepted the idea that because Democrats promote a welfare state that they are looking out for them. But my black friends and associates are more interested in economic opportunity, education choices and being respected. But... I don't live in an urban environment. I think you'll be surprised to see how many cast their lot this election with someone with an actual economic plan. And that is NOT Hillary.

@solo I don't think the middle class is doomed. Who do you think is rising up now? And it's not just the middle class. Highly educated white collar folks and small business people are right with them as well. Those on the lower rungs know they've been screwed over. No school choice, terrible job conditions, little opportunity.

The @chipmunk thinks they're too stupid to see it and mocks the possibility and Trump's slogan. But the reality is, offering freebies in exchange for a vote to those struggling does not work. Well, it gets some votes, but doesn't change anything.

Many are finally beginning to see it. Why not try another approach? The class warfare, while riling up the masses to vote one way or another, does not lift one economically. Opportunity does that. Trump's economic plan will create massive amounts of opportunity by bringing capital investment back, having jobs stay here, and removing obstacles in the business climate so new jobs can be created.

Trump is using Alinskyite reverse psychology on left-wingers and they are hysterical. Hillary thought she would accuse the Donald of being misogynist and roll into the White House. That strategy lasted about five seconds. The Clintons' skeletons are FINALLY coming home to roost.

As far as Trump as POTUS goes it will be far more important just who he has in his inner team. How much talent, experience and character they have.

Who he has to point out the goods and bads of his policies and attitudes. The American voters have not done much good picking a winner of late.

@Jaggedlittlepill. That comment about Mexicans was quite unfortunate, he generalised too much. But when he talked about punishing women who abort, this is not a comment against women, but against abortion.
I don't want to start a debate about abortion, this is another big topic.Only state that I do not find this comment insulting for women, like I would not find insulting for men saying 'men should be punished for abusing women'.

Abortion is a medical procedure. A woman has every right to decide about what happens to her body..including pregnancy. She should not be punished for deciding for her own body. I stated facts according to what I read in each of the links I provided. I won't pretend I understand the full text of those statistics nor did I spend the time to read the text fully as I was simply providing links where the information was....but I do understand that the percentage of white people in America on welfare is higher than the percentage of blacks. If you want to argue with the census bureau go right ahead. You can also look at these stats by state..why do you not find out what states actually have the highest welfare rates? Why don't you also know that the amount of our tax dollars truly spent on welfare is not nearly what people like to twist it to be either? ...that is Ok you can have your opinion and I can have mine...but when I am looking at these numbers I am seeing very clearly that my point has been proven.

I remember Trump criticising Mexicans, don't remember him making comments over black people, yet the percentage of Hispanics voting for him, although lower than 50%, is much higher than among blacks. Hence my suspect that the huge gap between Trump and Hillary in the percentage of black vote has financial roots rather than racial ones.
