I Am A Girlfriend Of An Inmate

Hi I am in the same situation as you. My boyfriend has being gone for 3 months now and all the judgement I get off friends and family is unreal. They don't understand and I don't expect them to understand but you can't help who you love and like you said if he wasn't in there I would still love him and be with him so him being in there doesn't stop me from loving him I love him just as much as I did before and always will do

Honestly, I stay in the relationship because it was love at first sight I guess...when I met him for the first time I was taken aback by just him. Since then he's been my rock. He's one of those people who don't care about the past; he understands me and he accepts me and you know you don't get guys like that everyday; I stay with him because I love more than I have ever before when I'm with him. I can feel it in my heart and I know that it may seem stupid to some people but I loved him before he went to jail so I'm love him everyday until he gets out and forever after that. I stay with him because he makes me feel like me again when I lost myself before.

Yeah he is a good person, I don't think he'd like me telling a stranger about his personal expirence. But his release date is August 2017 but he may get released in four months on probation; only if he's on good behaviour.

I am not in your situation but I will not judge you . I would be interested to know why you stay in the relationship if you feel like sharing .

Also that's 18 months so they only do half of their sentence so he will most probably get released sometime later this year which is good.

He sounds like a good person and that is hard to find. If you don't mind my asking - what is he in for and for how long ?

my ex was in asylum...and sadly they let her go now I feel like willingly admitting myself there for the rest of my life
