I Want to Keep a Journal
Day 3

I rent a room in a shared house. So as I came home from work, I noticed the light on in the kitchen and a bottle of champagne on the counter. As usual I went directly to my room. I changed, messaged my mom and as I was standing in the room, I was thinking.... I didn't really want to go down, to feel uncomfortable with those people. However I decided to just go down and at least say "good evening".
I went down "to grab a cup of water" 馃槢 and say hi. There were 2 guys from my house and a stranger at the table seemingly celebrating something.
Anyways, one of the guys asked me if I'm going to grab a glass of wine with them. I didn't really want to drink, because I didn't want to stick around. But I said, yeah, 1 why not. Apparently the guy was celebrating his birthday. I ended up sticking until the end. It was fun. That guy even called me later the next day to ask me how am I doing. And afterwards like a couple of days later he called me, while I was at work and asked me when I'm coming home, because he wants to open another bottle of wine and just hang out.
I couldn't come, but I was pleasantly surprised that he called me.
I probably don't have to say it, but I'm glad I went downstairs that night.
