I Have Given Up On Love

I surrender. It has almost taken my life one too many times. I've succumb to the inevitable feeling of half empty. pessimistic are my nights. Reminiscent my mind wanders through the days. I will avoid love at all costs. My heart will remain lost in an arid sea of melancholy. Never again.

If you are hopelessly romantic, you go back in love again. Joking.
But then again, what is love? No one ever answered me that question.
I grew up thinking love was pain, angry, sadness. I keep memories of it.
Thinking that it was love. It was the only way to get attention. That was how I knew love.
It was abbreviation for Loathe, Obscure and Violent Event for me. Not sure about you.

I know the feeling. If that makes you feel any better. Except I have given up. I'll let love find me. Not the other way around. If it doesn't than I'll be happy without it :)
