I Am Sad and Lonely

Sometimes I feel like a shadow. My existence is not in part with the world but rather faintly imprinted upon it instead.

I long for the day that will come when one learns how to read shadows and reads mine as well.

Maybe then the blank face of that shadow can learn to smile.
