I Love The Movie "shawshank Redemption"
A Fine Film,i've Viewed It Again And Again...
yes,I dig this flick.Well scripted,nicely acted and one piece of cinema I don't mind watching time and time again...
Once several of us were sitting around the dayroom at the county jailhouse,riveted to the screen,transported by the epic tale-the wonderfull acting and the wry little plot twists,though I'd bet that all of us had seen it several times...
A young,burly correctional officer strolled by as he made his rounds-
"I can't believe you guys are sitting around watching Shawshank-in Jail!"
"hey,man ya gotta have hope." I replied,though I'm sure the irony was mostly lost on that crowd...
soon it was time to lock down for count before lunch...(baloney sandwitches,most likely...)
I wished my plastic spoon was a bit mightier-can't win 'em all.
