How were you ever able to sit in an ice bath. The last time I was stung, I developed huge red welts where their stingers were. After removing the stingers with the credit card, -- seriously credit card, -- the swelling went down and I was OK.

If you were allergic to their venom and you would almost immediately go into anaphylactic shock. If your throat and or face does not seem to be swelling, then you should be OK .
