I Believe Happiness Is Simply a State of Mind
I had a few friends went up on a mountain for a camp out one weekend .
they had not checked the weather to know a blizzard was coming ,
so on the highest mountain on the eastern continental divide ,the set up camp .
Sometime in the night the tents start whipping and stakes are getting ripped loose so they freak ,"Let take cover in the van "
they run the heat a bit but were afraid as snow drifts started to bury the van the exhaust might back up inside and kill them sucking the oxygen out of the van and putting them to sleep until they die ,so engine off .
the van starts making creaking sounds and popping and snapping and they are not prepared for this ,and its getting like a freezer inside so they begin to really wonder if they are going to die ,,my buddy say he told his buddy he was sorry he had got him into this ,,cause going down an ice covered road in a blizzard is just not to bright .
All the sudden my buddy hears "Born on a bayou ,born on a bayou ,,what the hell ?
with some work he manages to get the door open on the van and here comes a big ole Uncle buck car full of Hippies
they are looking for a place to party and not get hassled by the cops ,and the top of the mountain seemed like the spot .
you see for my buddy and his friend it was life or death ,they just knew they were going to die ,,,
but for the Hippies ,this was heaven ,the perfect party spot
you see the situation was all in the state of mind
