I Am Having Relationship Problems

When you ask if he's talking to a friend, since a falling out occurred, and he says "no, I don't like her" yet she texts him and you discover they've been texting for days. Just feel betrayed. I don't care if they talk but why lie to me! It makes him look like he's going behind my back. I hate deceipt

Yes, the deceit makes you feel like maybe he's hiding more things. It's erodes your trust.

@Hairy exactly! he didn't like I was becoming good friends with her, we both had a falling out with her and a death brought us back together. Now he's confiding in her and sharing his ideas with her I dont even know about the stuff he's saying.

Let's take her out of the equation for a minute. Do you ordinarily trust him? Is the the first thing that's bothered you?

I don't know the entire situation but someone I'm in a relationship purposefully hiding stuff bothers me. I don't feel like I own my partner, sometimes getting another person's perspective is just that, but you were friends with her too and now he doesn't seem to want you to have that. Can you talk it out with him or is he really defensive about talking about her and what's going on?
