my bf and I have been together for about 6 years now and it's just rocky with so many trust issues on both sides but we just can't seem to leave each other because we really do love each other, at least I love him and h says he loves me. I just don't know how to fix us because breaking up is something I don't want to do

Who is the dominant one? After 6 years there is a power struggle that happens. One of you has to cede the power to the other.
