I Have Something To Share
I apologize for not being on for a while. An accident occurred and I have not been in a a good place mentally or emotionally to be here.
A few days after my last visit, my husband & his sister were 4-wheeling and the vehicle they were in was broad-sided by another truck in mid-air over top of a blind hill. She was killed instantly & my husband has been in the hospital in critical condition. He was recently upgraded to critical but stable condition. Needless to say, our adventures have been totally cut off as a result. My husband's nephew is now a orphan. Being his closest relatives, we will petition for custody of him. When my husband is back out of the hospital and able to do so, we will take care of the legalities for his nephew. We have a very good possibility of gaining custody and the boy is thrilled! My husband will be in physical therapy for quite a few months when he is released and our adventures will not continue until after his therapy is completed and he feels up to resuming.
His secret was revealed at the emergency room but, fortunately, the hospital staff has been very discreet and has not said a thing to his family members. They did ask me if I knew and I assured them I did and I am fine with it and I even told a few of them of some of our adventures. Those I told gave me extremely positive feedback. A gew even said they were going to try it!
I will be gone from here for the time my husband is going through therapy. He will regain most of his abilities. How much is actually up to him mentally. The doctors think he will make an 80 to 95% recovery, but not total. The injuries were quite severe.
