True but don’t give up on people completely

@river52 Funny how you can say this, each time I've decided that " not everyone is the same " I'm proven wrong. I'm at that point where it doesn't really matter, it's okay to be alone. Life is not about the the people you have in it, it's about you. How do you make yourself feel, are you happy with who you are or do you need to have others in your life even if you know deep down within they add no meaning or value to your life.

@WildHeart I’m sorry you are hurting now. But remember that life doesn’t stay the same. Things change, things happen.... sometimes for the worst and sometimes for the better. Find yourself and what makes you happy. Then look around and see those that share in your pleasure

@WildHeart I understand what you're saying. I am introvert and have no problem at all with solitude. In fact, I prefer it.
But the closer I come to the the end of my life, the more I think about legacy.
And that doesn't mean leaving a monument to myself, but rather what good have I been able to contribute into the lives of others.
I love solitude, but if I am the only beneficiary of it, how good is it?
If it heals you and strengthens you and makes you whole... wonderful! Then find someone with whom to share it.
