@purplepen True, it says we're given free will to do what we want.Include hurt people.We're given free will and that doesnt always mean people make good choices.

@purplepen Your argument makes no sense. There's two men: one is beating the life out of a small child, and the other just watches. He has the power to stop the other man from battering the kid, but he does nothing.

Using your logic, the man who is just watching and does nothing is not to blame, only the one hurting the kid is

@TeamSkullGrunt No, since the one watching is invisible we don't know everything that He is doing about it. When human beings blame God for not forcing them to do things right,they are requiring Him to be a dictator who controls everyone all the time. He gave plenty of guidelines to help us limit abuse, even in manmade,abusive systems like slavery. Human beings are responsible for doing the right thing with their own free will. Blaming God won't help anyone do things right.

@purplepen The way people defend God is reminiscent to how they defend an abusive partner, and it breaks my heart.
