@puck61 yea I have one that can make it to every family event
and out family has at least one a month to celebrate the birthdays in that month
Some of them I go to ,some I don't
But she makes it to all of them ,,yet if I want to see my grandson I have to go see her ,,she is pregnant again and a high risk ,,,so I get that
But when she wasn't pregnant
Now its always something with her health
I was disabled when I found and fought for them ,
Run lights and sound for all the events they were involved in
She has preformed at Epcot twice ,I was there for that
She is the only one that refused to go to college "She is self made "
She is the only one without a career other then being married
She was in an accident ,an attempted hit and run ,,but it was in front of her home and the guy was leaking fluids everywhere
she jumped in her husbands truck and tracked the guy down
He was drinking and driving but he owned a company ,,she tore him a new one
She won enough to buy her place ,so yea she is self made I guess LOL
The oldest works all the time ,and she takes care of cancer patients or the mentally challenged ,she is in high demand so she is all over the place and works a lot ,,her man survived cancer so they do have A LOT OF DEBT from it
But she is paying it down quick ,,she is like me ,she hates owing people
But my Youngest is here at least every other day
She pays my bills and shops for me ,takes me to the doctor and goes in with me so she knows exactly whats up with my health ,,the advancement of my disease
stuff with my heart and BP ,now sugar ,she will be the one giving me shots
I can take a knife and cut something out of myself ,but I hate sticking myself with a needle ,,,but she is a nurse ,I don't even know when its done if she does it .so now she will be coming everyday
She gets my son for me on Friday ,takes him home on Sunday 60 miles round trip so 120 miles a week just for him ..
So now my oldest has been in a wreck and kind of laid up so now all the sudden she knows how I must feel ,,2 weeks and you know how it has been for years for me
But my Grandkids are grown and they still want to come stay with me
And I know I am loved ,,but with all the sacrifices we made for them
They won't get it until everyone they love except their kids have died
No more Mom and Dad ,Aunts and Uncles ,all my cousins are dead except 3rd and 4th that don't even count as cousins after that ,all my 1st cousins are all dead .
They still have their Grandma ,,,
I only have them ,,and only 2 life long friend left
2 yrs ago I had 10 ,,and both of them are hours away
So basically I have them ,,,but I am blessed ,you know Brother
its tough to kill an Old Vet ,,we keep coming back like a tooth ache LOL

@rckt148 Man, you have a full plate with the health issues. I have a lot of pain, bone and circulation issues, but I can walk pretty good, and I can actually hit a lick or two! I watch my edema getting worse and I don't like to see and feel the degeneration of my body, but I still get around pretty good,
I wish Apryle would just forgive me and we could mend fences. She used to be my biggest fan, It breaks my heart to tell you the truth.

I was just getting back on my feet when I found my girls
I came down to watch my oldest graduate ,I took a leave of absence from work
the guys on the lot took up a collection ,stuck $1.300.00 in my hand and said go get to know your kids
The middle one begged me to move here saying I could get another job but my kids needed me ,,so I looked for a place ,
The ex then tried stopping me from seeing the kids ,I took her to court and won
I am washing 30 cars a day and its killing me but I come in on Nov 6th and have a grand in the mail ,so I buy them all new clothes
Next day there is another grand ,,now I am wondering whats going one
the next day is 9 grand so now I am freaking ,,but it was all mine
I had been approved for my social security the year before ,but they had held it up waiting to see if I owed them back anything like SSI which I didn't
But had they paid me when it was awarded to me it would have proved to my wife I really was disabled and I wouldn't have lost everything and ended up living on the streets but I take it as that is the way God wanted it
I get told right off my oldest is moving to Missouri to go to college
She dropped out after she cost me a boat load of money helping her
I support her through becoming a glorified beautician ,and when she goes to take her state boards ,she spends the night up with a so called good buddy who worked for the Governor ,so she thinks he actually loves her ,but he goes back to his EX
She wants me to pay for 1300 more hours of college and I say no
So she moves in with another piece of trash just to spite me ,and then another
And all she got was 2 kids now she needs help to raise
She finally marries her second husband and things are good ,and he starts up some crap so I say enough ,,,if you want to put everyone before me ,keep disrespecting me ,well we can talk again when you grow up enough to apologize
It took 7 years ,but one day she showed up and swallowed her pride said she was sorry ,,of coarse it was for her famous Big Big favors ,but I forgave her
She and her Daughter both disrespected me a while back and I just said
See ya in another 7 yrs and left ,she was over before the week was out saying she was sorry
I can still love you and not have crap to do with you
I am always going to be Dad ,,and they don't have to like me but I will not tolerate their disrespect
I have gave up more for them than anyone else ever has or ever will
My health being the most valuable ,,Had I just lived off my check and not kept killing myself for them ,,I would not be in this shape now
Taking Oxicotin and keeping on building houses and business when I knew one day I was going to reach a point now amount of pain pills was going to enable me to keep going ,,part of my spine was removed in 1990 when bone was crushing so many nerves and my sciatic nerve to the point I could no longer work
I was told then to give up anymore lifting ,,10 lbs with my right arm 25 was the max for my back ,,and I lifted 5/8 on every ceiling I did and 5/8 wonder-board on every mansion exterior ,,foam and wonder board with a vinyl based finish got to be the thing some think its stucko ,its not this is on wonder board not mesh
And the finish is applied hawk and trowel ,and you have to know what you are doing as a finisher or it comes out looking like a series of patchs
I can make it look like it was sprayed on ,,no seems ,not marks from starting and stopping ,,because I don't and it is hell on shoulders and back
All the quick swoops getting the mix on the wall and all the circle motions to apply it but not burn it ,,it is an art just like plaster I can do as well
Getting sheet rock slick aint crap ,making plaster look slick as marble ,thats a craft ,,these kids today have no clue how hard we worked in the day
They act like throwing a metal building up is hard
I do them from the pour to the last screw ,,self tapping cup head ,even the rivets like aviation if thats what they want
Dug more then my share of footers and ties my share of steal
I live walking onto a job they are tying steal and show off to those kids that think they are fast
We started making pre stressed beams ,,and I can pull a mold off anything
Stuff they have never seen anymore ,,now they have something made of foam that looks similar tape it and coat it and it looks like the real deal ,but I can make the real deal ,all wood ,not pre formed foam
But my kids don't know how hard I have worked and how I got in this shape
You don't have a clue until you are walking in our shoes
And then they want to cry like we don't know how it is
But I worked already in that shape ,,not got in that shape
Without pills and booze ,I couldn't have done it
But now I am paying for it
