October is usually a depressing month for me because it is a month of loss. It is a month of memories that I hold on to from the past because the people I shared them with are gone. They were my bros, my homies, true friends that all went before they should have. One by way of losing a battle with leukemia and the other two by way of the sword that they lived by. Some say that the last two got what they deserved but they never saw the side I saw. Or the big heart they had.
I've lost a lot of friends through death but these three hold a special place inside of me. And the song above reminds me not only to never forget them but also that there are angels watching over me. Rest in peace. I'll see you again one day.
