I Like Being Alone But Hate Being Lonely

I understand this more than you can know, as I am the same way. A night alone in my apartment or a night out at the bar? An afternoon walk in the forest or an afternoon in a house filled with people I don't care to see? Solitude wins out every single time. I could be wrong, but you definitely sound like an introvert. You have a lot to say, and you say it beautifully, and you prefer to be alone rather than around other people. I find that being around others is lonely because they don't understand you/me, it can be difficult to relate and most people are sheep anyway. They say they care, they say they understand, they say they're there if you need them... but the majority of this is not true. Most people could care less.

Anyway, embrace your introversion, it's who you are :) Personally, I wouldn't want to be any other way :)
