I Go to a Boarding School
Last weekend, all the girls in my boarding house went for a picnic at a local beauty spot 馃檪
We ate our food near a large lake, but the girls were asked not to play near the lake as we had no change of clothes for them if they got wet (normally we take spare clothes in the minibus so they don't need to worry about getting wet or dirty).
At one point a ball got kicked into the lake and one of the younger girls decided to take off her shoes and socks, push up her leggings, and try to retrieve it from the water. She walked slowly through the water and took so much care not to get wet - you could see the look of concentration and determination on her face. When she returned to the bank, she tossed the ball back to her friends and was clambering out when she lost her footing and fell backwards - SPLASH!!! - I'm very sorry, but it was difficult not to laugh 馃槀馃槉
