I Go to a Boarding School

There is a little Chinese girl in our house who had a birthday yesterday. Her parents had bought her an expensive phone and sent some money for a party, so there was cake and lemonade and we decorated her area of the dorm with balloons and streamers.

But when we came to get the girls ready for bed, she was sitting by herself looking sad. All she wanted on her birthday was for her mum or dad to phone and speak to her for 15 minutes. It seems that was too much trouble for them, poor little mite 😥
