I Go to a Boarding School
One of my duties as House Sister is to make sure the younger girls in our house follow a bedtime routine so we can switch off the lights at 9.30pm.
They are supposed to get changed into their night clothes from 8.30 onwards. Those who didn't have a shower in the morning take a shower in the evening or have a bath. Prep (homework) is finished for the night, vigorous activity ceases, and we all calm down and talk quietly or read a book to prepare ourselves for sleep.
Judging from the racket that is being made next door, I have my work cut out for tonight 😟
