I Go to a Boarding School

I am here at last 🐻

I have unpacked all my stuff and I am settled into my new room. It has two beds, one of which is occupied by my room mate Katya, who arrived here last night. There is a large table by the window, which is our desk, and two chairs. We each have a set of drawers for putting our clothes in and one big wardrobe which we must share.

We are House Sisters, which means we must help the House Mother, Miss Thomas, look after the younger girls who are in this boarding house. There are twenty year 7 girls, who sleep five to a room. There rooms are very nice, with three single beds and a bunk bed in each. I think there will be arguments over who gets the top bunk when they arrive 😟

There is no routine for the first weekend, but from tomorrow night we will follow the full routine of meal times and bedtimes. I have a lot to learn before then 🐻
