I Just Need To Rant, Scream, And Curse Once In A While

I do and sometimes cursing is needed to be said. I won't apologize for cursing. When I express my feelings some curse words slip out. I know I have to watch my mouth around younger kids but they're going to hear cursing anyways so why apologize to them for cursing? I'm sure they heard it before. My dad cursed infront of us before. I was like, "Daddy you cursed!" He didn't respond. Then he said, "Look I tell you not to curse because you're too young and don't understand how to use them but as an adult it won't matter. You're going to be hearing a lot of those words in your life. So get used to it kids." He didn't apologize. I don't think he needed to.

As I tell my teens ,now 19
19 is not a magic number that now says
"I have respected them long enough ,now I am an adult and adults cuss "
If you do it around people that you once wouldn't have
is that a sign you now respect them less ?
or your peers now see you as more cool because you can cuss ?

Now my teens see the point and pay attention again

I never cussed around my kids ,I started cussing because of the language they used around me ,,
( the intentions of a righteous man is spoiled by the company he keeps ) it came true ,
I was a sailor ,and we cussed ,but I got control of how I speak to set a better example for them .

And my Daughter did say that she did feel responsible
she never heard me cuss until she and her friends started cussing around me all the time ,,and I didn't call them down

So now I have put us all in check ,,yes kids are going to hear lots of things ,,but we make better examples
when they don't hear them from us ,

Now that we have started reminding each other ,
there is no more constant profanity ,,its a sign of respect
