I Believe In Unions

Even though there are flaws to this, I’d rather be in a union.

I believe workers need to have bargaining power; but I also think Unions had too much power, and became corrupt, and this led to their downfall.

My grandfather fought hard for unions and was killed for it back in 1921. Unions may be far from perfect, and some have been corrupt, but workers do need some sort of power on their jobs. One working person has no power to speak of against a giant corporation.

@waleskinder It is a myth that people join unions because they are poor workers. Many very hard working, skilled and smart people have joined unions.
