I think we are reborn over and over again, as humans or animals or as hungry ghosts or hell-beings. Very few of us get into heaven, and that isn't forever. The reason why there were so many of us boomers is because we are the people who died in WWII. I was a soldier and I remember dying.

@hunkalove what woah, i had some intense meditation experience from WWII i m fascinated by ww2.
Do you meditate ?
where do you think is the exit?
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@Om2014 I meditate. The Buddha has the answer for the way out. It has nothing to do with faith or what you believe or don't believe. It is all about letting go.

@Om2014 Oh my...how civilized!

@Fernie i think thats how humans are meant to behave:)

meanwhile let me narrate an experience of mine some 8 years back. it was april of 2012, that day i happen to meditate for more than 4hrs, there wasnt anything i desired more than being in that state of being. some of my friends asked to go out with them for dinner out, i agreed but i carried my meditation with me :D walking but not walking, just silently turned inwared i went on doing things mechanically drinking this nector of bliss breath by breath. i was out for another 3 hours, and that state seemed to deepen as i kept paying attention to it, electricity like sensation surging through my body,, at one point i was almost drowning in the bliss unable to leep my eyes open, one friend asked another what would you have, in myy otherwise totally thoughtless mind i heard "daal fry" (indian dish) and 2 seconds later my other friend said "daal fry" , and what else asked other friend, in my head i heard "aalo jeera" (another dish) and i was confident this would be the secnd dish my friend wud want, sure enough that was it....

to be continueed (most interesting experience comes after)

@Om2014 Only once in my life have I meditated to that level...like I was about to step into a different dimension. If we used our brain to it's full capacity I think we could read minds...see through things..see the future. The main reason I feel comfortable with the idea of being reborn is because of some powerful moments of deja vu...imo, snippets of my last life
Om2014 · 31-35, M
@Fernie yes i believe those feats are possible as well. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences 🙏
@hunkalove omg I never thought of it that way

or maybe people just had a new appreciation of life, babies, and all that, in a new luxurious era of..."peace"
Om2014 · 31-35, M
@Elevatorpitches "peace" yeah outside, comparatively yes, but it has gotten worse inside :|
@Om2014 in the usa after ww2 everyone had babies because it was no sweat anymore

lol!!!!!
