A sobbing mother was in front of me in the queue for the bank today and she was shamelessly parading her two children to the manager in a pathetic appeal hoping to get a loan.
She caused quite a scene and this lasted for nearly 15 minutes as she whined how desperate she was.
Im happy to be able to tell you the manager (politely but insistently) declined to succumb to her shrill desperarion and the mother left dejected and miserable.
Usually I resent queuing but if someone less fortunate than myself is making an embarrassing scene, then I dont mind so much.
