I noticed that as well.I mean...could use a friend but I get scared or feel unworthy.I noticed a pattern,especially in games,I talk to them have fun,whatever,as soon they start asking questions and opinions I disappear.Guess it has something to do with past or just the way of thinking,could be just me being stupid.Would like to change it's just...how?

Relationships are hard. It takes a certain kind of person to pull it off, and there has to be kindness, caring and lots of love involved.
My daughter is like you I think, she is tired of the dating thing and all that entails, she became an animal lover and has a house full of cat/dogs, but she also works out at the gym, which makes me think she is still trying even though she won't admit it.
I suppose a working relationship just takes that certain bit of luck, and if you find your life partner you will suddenly know it. Never give up hope though, be confident in yourself always.
