high school finals really arent that important
How do you figure? It's my Junior year, and this is the year that colleges focus on when reviewing applications. Also, I had a ton of borderline grades this semester. It's pretty darn important to me.

No, not really. The state exam is more important.
@xjesse24: The admissions counselors that I've talked to for the colleges I'm interested in said otherwise. Also, not sure what you mean by "the state exam".

@Killers: junior year.............. lol

@Killers: You are required to pass the state exam to be promoted to the following grade. Well, at least here in Texas. Also, finals aren't hard at all.
@xjesse24: I live up North, and we don't have state exams. Also, finals are pretty difficult, especially if you go to a rigorous school and you're taking classes for college credit. (Sorry if I'm coming off as braggadocios, that's not my intention. I'm just trying to be matter-of-fact.)
@lilboweep: You have the right to your opinion, and I'm not going to berate you about it.

@Killers: Oh wow, no state exam?! Lucky. I aced all of my classes in high school, some were for college credits as well. I even skipped some college courses because I did well in high school. I was actually set up to graduate my junior year but my counselors messed up. Anyway, good luck with your finals!
@xjesse24: Wow, you sound really intelligent! 🤓 I wish I could ace all of my classes. Thank you for the luck!

@Killers: Thanks, I appreciate that, and don't mention! Good luck
