I Live In Colorado

I've never understood the deal with people here bringing dogs that are not service dogs into a store with them such as in Wal-mart, Target, the Aurora Mall, etc. It doesn't bother me, but it's still weird. Growing up in Colorado, I remember seeing maybe one or two people carry around a small puppy while in a store, but things have changed. I guess as long as the dog is small sized then it's okay.

There was a guy in my Safeway that had nobody to help him that was struggling to move around who clearly could have benefitted from some kind of service dog and then I see a perfectly healthy and capable of functioning on his own guy walk right past him with a “service dog”. I don’t like when people that defend them say “you don’t know what they’re going through so you shouldn’t say they don’t need it” because it has nothing to do with anything.
