I Cant Stop Overthinking

People say intelligent people think too much. How did that come to be? I beg my body to stop thinking, but I still think. Does this make me intelligent following the characteristic stated? Wouldn't that make everyone with a brain intelligent? Why is it people center their whole being on being intelligent? Intelligence comes with a price, much like anything, but yet people devote years of their lives to be intelligent just to continue living. We're all struggling to become more intelligent, our minds crave knowledge, our hearts crave intelligence. So much so that we try to suppress the very thing that makes us humans! Why? Other biological functions aren't attempted to be suppressed as much as emotion. Its less frequent for people to try to suppress the undying want, craving, desire for reproduction. It is in our genes, our "code" if you want to call it that. Yet the very reason that drives you towards attraction is emotion, if people just disregarded emotion, and empathy we would just become mindless drones trying to repopulate the earth. Why? We already have too many humans on this miserable rock, that might be my bias because I'm known for despising the human race, but its true. You may be saying (probably not, but this keeps my train of thought going) "shut up, you're a human you would hate yourself." You're right, I AM indeed a human, I would be drunk, or high if I tried to deny that. You're right, I would hate myself, I DO hate youself, your point being? You may be saying "you're ranting too much, shut up" I agree, I'm merely venting because I know no one in their right mind would, or will read all of this. Consider this a diary of such, those that take the time and read it will know a bit more of my, insignificant psyche and know a bit more about how my mind works. As you can see, I don't have a one-track-mind.
