I Just Lost a Friend

I just lost a dear friend. She was so skinny the first time i saw her. She's from the neighborhood. She was weak, tired and starving. I gave her food and water and I even bought foods just for her. I feed her a lot and as days pass by she gained weight and skinny no more. She comes to us when it's meal time, she knows where to go. She's still aloof but i can see her excitement when i come home. She waggs her tail and jump and follow me. I worked hard to get her trust and i finally did. She's always there day and night.
But i think i won't be able to see her again, anymore...
Our heartless neighbor asked some boys to take the dog and those stupid boys turtured the dog - wanting to kill her. I don't know how long they've been hunting and hitting her. I was lying on my bed when i heard a dog's scream and found out they were hunting her. She was able to escape but she must be really hurt. I asked the stupid boys to let her go and never hit her again and i'll pay them for the dog's life. They insisted the owner gave it to them but i insisted not to kill her because i'm the one feeding her. I've been around looking for her but there was no luck. I tried to call her but there was no response. I so hate that I wasn't able to save her when she needed my help. I more hate my neighbor and those heartless boys. I hope and pray she's still alive and will come back soon. I really miss her!
